Charlotte Tilbury is one of those brands that every girl wants to try at one point. The packaging in a beautiful rose gold and looks absolutely luxurious ( Esp., for a girl like me who adores everything and anything in shades of GOLD ). In fact, Charlotte Tilbury was behind the beautiful "Angelic" glow at the Victoria Secret Show 2018. So why not join the Angels and experience the stunning products.
I have noticed though that her products are mostly very warm toned and mainly for the everyday look except a smokey eye here or there with a red lip.

First of all, the lipstick comes with a very unique applicator. It is curved and hugs your lips when you apply the lipstick. It is a thick formula but turns into a thinner layer when applied to the lips as it is creamy so the thickness is understandable. However, it does dry into a matte liquid lipstick in around 2-3 mins. It is lightweight and the colour is pigmented as expected to be. I did not pay $209 HKD for a lipstick that is not pigmented lol. It is matte but a comfortable matte, it is hydrated enough to not make your lips flaky.
As you can see the swatch on the right, the lipstick is one shade lighter on my lips so if your complexion is darker than mine, then I would not recommend this colour as it was a bit too light for my taste too. ( My lips are lighter though, so I get this problem with all nudes )
Overall, I like this lipstick as I love matte, but it does only last for as long as you don't eat because it transfers easily. You will have to carry this around if you want to re-apply it after a meal. For me, there was a thin layer of the lipstick left after a oily dinner which was surprising. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a hydrating matte and does not mind re-applying if needed.
