Who doesn't know about how important Sunscreen is? If you don't then even more reasons to read this blog. I guarantee you will at least consider buying one if not place an order right away because guess what, I use TWO daily! This is a fact and not an exaggeration.
Sunscreen is one of the main skincare products we MUST include in our A.M routine. The most obvious reason is to avoid sun burns but there are more to it.
We need protection from ultraviolet (UV ) rays. UVB rays are responsible for sunburns while UVA rays penetrate more deeply into the skin ( the second layer : Dermis ), and plays major role in premature skin aging. Both of these are causes of skin cancers but there is nearly 500 times more UVA rays in sunlight than UVB.
Usually sunscreen label SPF only which merely covers UVB.

A sunscreen that covers both is labelled BROAD Spectrum or PA plus ( has different levels ).
PA+ = Some UVA protection.
PA++ = Moderate UVA protection.
PA+++ = High UVA protection.
PA++++ = Extremely High UVA protection.
My Experience
I recently started using this amazing sunscreen from Vely Vely, a Korean beauty brand. Being a person who takes her sunscreen very seriously, it is hard to impress me but trust me when I say this sunscreen is amazing!
The irony is summer is the time we sweat a lot and being in an extremely humid climate, I need a sunscreen that doesn't feel greasy and sinks right into the skin. This sunscreen does it! It is lightweight and has NO WHITE CAST! I am brown, so big NO NO to white cast!
